What This Page Is For

Vaani hosts user-generated proposals for conversations, including campaigns (community-proposed vaanis between two named individuals) and challenges (public invitations from one user to another). These proposals are editorial in nature and do not imply that any named individual has agreed to participate, endorses Vaani, or uses Vaani.

If you are a person named in a campaign, challenge, or other user-generated Vaani surface and you would like to be removed, use the form below. We process opt-out requests quickly and do not require a legal demand to honor them.

Who Can Use This Form

The individual named in the proposal
An authorized representative (attorney, agent, publicist, communications professional)
A parent or legal guardian (for subjects under 18)

We reserve the right to request reasonable verification of identity or authority before acting on a request, but we will proceed in good faith while verification is pending.

What Happens When You Opt Out

Removal from existing proposals: All campaigns, challenges, and other user-generated surfaces naming you are removed from public view.
Prevention of future proposals: Your name and any handles you provide are added to an internal opt-out registry. Future user-created proposals naming you will not be published.
No effect on your own account: If you have an existing Vaani account you created yourself, this does not delete it. To delete an account, see Delete Account.

Timeline

California and New York residents: within 24 hours of request
All other residents: within 48 hours of request
Acknowledgement email: within 2 business hours during US business days

If you do not receive an acknowledgement within that window, email opt-out@vaani.us directly.

What Vaani Is Not Representing

User-generated campaigns and challenges on Vaani are proposals, not statements of fact. When a campaign or challenge names a public figure, Vaani is not representing that the named person:

Has agreed to participate in the proposed conversation
Has endorsed, used, or is associated with Vaani
Has made any statement reflected on the proposal page

"Unclaimed" status on a campaign or challenge indicates explicitly that the named individual has not claimed a Vaani profile or agreed to participate.
